AHHHH IM SORRY IM SO SLOWHERE, HAVE A SCRAP COMIC
I'm working on a bunch of projects at the moment, including a few "larger" L4D comics, and none of them are past 50% done.
Also due to high demand, a few "serious" L4D comics.
They're very detailed though, so they're taking a long time. One makes me sad

This is a short unfinished one that just happened because I wanted to draw a Hobo Smoker. Originally the Hobo is supposed to be behind them in the first panel, and they'll all chilling downtown by a subway station.

lol when l4d came out i had a few theory's of my own on how the special infected got their powers
smoker: obviously a heavy smoker to the point of cancer the virus infecting him mutates the cancer cells causing him to get bobbling swells all over his body the swells are filled with poisonous gas from the mutated cancer cells. his poors spew out spores, his tongue is expected to actually be his intestines he shoots through his mouth.
boomer: overweight man around the 300 lb scale. because of the overwhelming amount of fat cells in the body the virus mutates the fat cells into a slimy combustive liquid which thanks to the virus also has a pheromone that attracts all other infected zombies. because of the combustive liquid his body ends up swelling and getting big fat boils filled with the liquid.
the puke he constantly shoots out recharges because the boomer liquid in his body funnels info his stomach allowing him to puke it out again.
hunter: a drug dealer addicted to meth or any other drugs that stimulate muscles. this explains his clothing, and the sores all over his body, as well as the bandages wrapped around his limbs. the virus infecting his body mutates the drugs in his body that further stimulates his muscles which allows him to be fast and leap great distances.
tank: body builders who abuse steroids, the virus mutates the steroids in the body causing it to accelerate the effects in the muscle causing the the tanks muscles to grow. because of this the virus mutating the steroids also causes the tank to be super aggressive.
witch: (this one was hard to come up with)
but id say just a random mutation to young females with bipolar disorder. the virus mutates her body causing her fingers to grow longer into claws, the virus also mutates her fragile skin into tough skin that can withstand more damage as well as her strength increasing. this explains why she is so dangerous and hard to kill.
