hello everyone, its been a while! (i say although i doubt many people will even see this)

this will be a long post but to summarize, here’s a tl;dr: this is a redraw of the first picture i ever posted on deviantart 10 years ago today! the original can be found here: www.deviantart.com/ashangel899…

while i won’t ever delete this account, i’m obviously not active on it; if you want to follow my art still you can follow me at clovercacti on instagram (and various other social media). i have commissions open atm so hmu!! maybe one day i’ll try to be active on dA again but that day is not today, and it will likely be under the username clovercacti if i do. ashangel899 is the me of the past!
now for the long ramble-y stuff:
i can’t believe i drew the original “ciry: confidence” picture about switching to a public middle school from my private elementary school! its really funny to think back on since i’ve come so far since then. i also can’t believe that 10 years later, my sister and friends still call me ciry after my self insert pokemon OC’s name lmaoo
i don’t think many active users follow me here anymore, but i’m posting it here because… idk, i’m nostalgic. ;v; deviantart was the first site i really used and made friends on….. and i still think about and look back fondly on a lot of memories i made here. i think about a lot of old friends i used to be very close with who i met on here, some others whose names i can’t remember anymore, every once in a while… and i’m kind of hoping that like me, some of my old friends and followers still look back at my account and remember me nostalgically and will see this. if that sounds like you, don’t hesitate to message me if you want to reconnect!! i love reconnecting with people!! i’m clovercacti on tumblr and instagram, @clovercactis on twitter, and #clovercacti4207 on discord! hmu!

i’m currently going to western washington university as an art major! i got my minor in japanese; i’ll be a college senior this upcoming year! i still draw (obviously), listen to vocaloid, watch anime, and play video games (im watching the fruits basket remake–talk about nostalgia, and im really into the yakuza game series atm!) i also like the mcelroy brothers now! im still a big nerd and also im gay! ive been with my gf for 4.5 years and we have an apartment with a friend from our hometown. uhhh thats all i can think of to say lmao
if you just stumbled upon my page and you dont know me and you still read all that, then…. props to you and maybe follow me on instagram if you want to see my current art lmao
