Description
This is a close up of the shield for my costume. I bought this foam shield from Toys R Us and I must say, it is pretty damn sturdy and it looked a lot different when I bought it. Pretty much what I did was paint over the shield with acrylic paint. I'm glad it came out okay, I suck at painting. Then I made the Triforce pieces and the red gem out of oven bake clay. The silver base for the gem was a button I that I also painted with the acrylics. The gem up top is another one of them buttons. I glued those items on with my favorite glue, LOCTITE Professional glue. The back already had the Velcro straps and all I did there was paint over the symbol and add my own.

The shield is my families emblem, representing that though they are not of the Royal Knights, they still work to help crown and kingdom.
