Description This was the second long color study I did today. It was suggested that since the goal is mastering color and painting technique here that doing a quick trace over would let me focus on that aspect, so, full disclosure, the line art on this was traced to give me a guideline so I could paint this without worrying about having to create the structure as well. Especially since I don't draw well directly in photoshop.

So, disclosure aside, the goal here was to get the color right. This was so cool to study from because everything is so desaturated and you know something, there's a lot more green in this piece than you'd think at first. Everything isn't perfect. For lighting's sake I admit to taking a small liberty with the lighting on the back of the suit but this was another great learning opportunity.

EDIT: I keep forgetting to make this note
