Part of the collection of District 9 art: [link]Jeff and I decided to collab, and definitely put up some more District 9 stuff out there. Check his stuff out. He is an unbelieveable pencillist.
This is the first pieces. I tried to make it as realistic as possible, putting more than 19-20 hours of work in Photoshop. Original pencils are found here: [link] You should definitely check the pencil version of this out first.

I noticed you all talking about the halo/district 9 part.
some where, not sure where, but somewhere i heard that they still used bits in district 9, that they were going to use in halo? Like i assume weapons of some sort and possibly vehicles?
I played a bit of halo but not enough to really know and Ive watched D-9 about 3 times already xD
But was any of that rumor true orrr?
This is an awesome piece indeed! I saw both his pencil version and yours and they're both phenomenal!

As for the Halo-D9 relation... I don't think there is too much relation between the two. I'm an avid gamer of Halo myself, and the rumors don't have much sense when you think about it (or at least, when I think about it, lol).
Just because the proposed Halo movie and District 9 are from the same director, doesn't mean there will be parts from here and there. D9 is definitely original, and built from the ground up. They might though... they might. I should look a little more deeply myself.

ooo... o man. I know wat yur talking about, but unfortunately i do not have one of those. heard that those do come pretty handy for digital art. On top of that my photoshop isnt working. When it get it back up and working im gonna experiment with my pictures through digital coloring and what not. Heard that PS makes your art work look ALOT better if u put it through PS. Am I right?

lol, yeah, we've been doing great as a team so far. We had the idea to ALMOST adapt the D9 movie into comics independently, but... 
I think he's perfect for concepts... I like to pencil too, but he's got a broader line of imagination than I do. Plus, his pencils are fun to play colors with.
