Jalika was the eldest, born a litter or two before Ziyaka and Daita, so he moved on and started his own pride by the time they became mature adults. Diata and Ziyaka stayed together when they started the Savanna pride, but eventually Ziyaka grew tired of co ruling and started his own pride as well.
After the fight with Anima, Diata ventures and asks his brother to fight alongside him to reclaim his pride. His brother is content with his pride and wishes no war. He finds it pitiful that his brother could not defeat a mere lioness, but curiosity leads him to visit Anima to see if she would be worth his time, possibly as a mate or rival. Time will tell.
