I’m doing a series of robot-themed bookmarks, because… well, why not?Here’s the first one in the batch. I should say that elements of this robot’s look were inspired directly by Colonel Walter’s early designs for the Steam Powered Giraffe robots…

How do you get your watercolours into a digital file good enough for reprint? Do you scan them or photograph them?

I scan them. And let me just say right here that I haven't as yet had the chance to actually reprint any of my files except this one, so I don't know if I did a particularly good job with the others or not.

Ahh thanks ! Oh one more question. Do you photoshop some of the shadows from the texture of the watercolour paper out after you scan it?

I try to, but it doesn't always work. I do usually adjust the colors at least.

Some of them, yes. I'm trying not to make them too similar to each other, but they'll still look like my style in the end I guess.
