What's amazing about the two swords is i can see each of them serving it's own purpose even outside of releasing his zanpaktou. So he would still only fight one sword against opponents. Depending on which sword he drew depends on the tactic or battle plan he had thought out. Which makes him deadly especially with the fact if he needed two he can still wield both at the same time.
