Interesting idea however; I’m uneasy about a alligator like creature being able to eat a werewolf. I would have gone with a mountain lion.

I think so, it certainly has 682's trappings; skeletal crocodile thing, eyes covered by a gray cloak, and unusual means of killing and/or communicating.
