Today's sketch for Feb 5th started out as a study of this picture (super cute pose: [link] ) and ended up being a cute, intimate sketch of two of my favorite characters from one of my all time favorite movies. Scarlet Pimpernel anyone? I watched the 1982 version of this probably 30 or 40 times now and it's still as amazing to me as ever. So here is Sir Percy and Marguerite.Anyone who hasn't seen this movie and loves historical romances or anything about French history should definitely watch it: [link]

This is lovely! I heard a friend sing a song from the musical a couple years back and became intrigued. I read the book then and fell in love!

I love it! Very sweet. I first saw the 1934(?) version and was too young to appreciate it but I fell in love with the 1982 version a few years back, well Anthony Andrews as Percy
