Figured I'd add some life drawings to this place. This is an observational sketch from a museum in Florence Italy. It's a deposition piece by Michelangelo. I wish it would've scanned better.Related content

Oh my Gosh, that is beautiful. Absolutely breathtaking. It must be amazing to be able to observe and draw a Michelangelo piece in real life. I've tried (and still am trying) observation but my work is nowhere near yours.

Don't you think Michelangelo's sculptures are the greatest for drawing?
Being near one of these and drawing it in a wonderful experience. And probably one of the best paths to learn how to draw.

What a wonderfull drawing. I am myself a Michelangelo freak, so I have drawn of alot of his work too, but only through books though. I surely wish that I will have the opportunity to do it in real life too. But I must say what a Fabulous sketch!
