Y'know, I never understood why Kaa just sat there and took Khan's BS. He's a fully-grown Reticulated Python, meaning he's at least twice as long as Shere Khan, and ALMOST ENTIRELY MUSCLE. It would be VERY SIMPLE for him to kill Khan. All he has to do is immobilize Khan's legs and he could literally crush the tiger like a grape. Khan's only advantage is his claws, fangs, and agility, but a snake-even one Kaa's size-is still much, much faster. By all rights, Kaa *should* be able to get Khan in his coils before the tiger can react properly.

Eh, Kaa might be an *Indian* python (not quite as formidable as a retic) plus Khan's no normal tiger. He can handle an Asiatic black bear with ease after all.
