I'd like to see a beautiful desktop like that, but usable. Titles on windows, navigation toolbar, etc...

well, I use this desktop as you can see it in this shot.
But there are some tricks!
Menubar pops up pressing F10.
The toolbar in my filemanager, thunar, is hidden because if I press Ctrl+L a little textbox with the path appears, and I use mouse gestures to move back or forward or up.
about the titlebar... you're right. I've just added it.
