Description
The picture was penciled and penned on paper and then photoshopped. It was purposefully done in a simplified manner to sort of mimic as well as pay homage to the author's illustrations. Surprisingly, it still took a long time because I found that I only could work on it a little at a time. One time, I drew just the smoke from the tiny volcano and I felt so accomplished!!! ^_^

This resurgence in my adoring of Saint-Exupery's gorgeous story was caused by
olivia_lupin's most gorgeous H/D fic, "Full Spectrum". The slow, painful journey through Draco's interior life is so beautifully done and I really love this story's Draco and Harry.

It inspired me to go out and buy a copy of the newly re-translated book at the local bookstore and Saint-Exupery's beautiful illustrations further inspired me to draw a pic of Prince Draco and his rose, Harry.
