Eve takes flight, zooming around the Axiom, thoughts of her past swirling around her memory chips, thoughts of her and Wall-e also float through her mind. She zooms upwards, hoping to make sense of it all.

But what is there to make sense of? What life was there before Wall-E? Who was she but a machine caught in the routine of her programming, taking small solace in the freedom to explore planet Earth.

Eve pushed power into her thrusters and zoomed into the atmosphere. She broke through the bank of clouds and looked down...the great ship, Axiom, seemed but a small speck from the arid ground and as the sun set, Eve flew back towards the Axiom.

She never could leave the mothership for any long period of time. That was her home, she couldn't survive without it. She was tethered to it like an infant, she could never be really free without it.

Upon returning to the Axiom, Eve rejoined her sisters, and they understood the solice of lonliness that she felt. Eve still thought of all the time that she spent with Wall-E, from first meeting him on earth to all the adventures they had while the Axiom was still in space. She remembered that little plant which had started blooming into a wonderous tree. Eve drifted off to sleep, memories fading from her subconscious like smoke in the wind.
