I have not googled it to see if I am right or not, but I have come to the conclusion that the equinox is the perfect time of year for "sky" shots - at least, in Pennsylvania. As we neared the first day of Spring, I took this shot, which has remained my own all time favorite photo that I have taken (and my most 'd as well): [link]

Now that it is almost the first day of autumn, both morning and night the past few days and weeks have given some of the most awesome skies believable - and some that you may doubt is believable - but the posts in my gallery recently ARE real skies and not photomanipulations. This panorama is composed of three photos I took on the morning of September 22, 2006.
