Here's Samus... I'm happier with the details & pose of this sketch than all my previous Samus renditions. I made this one as close in detail as I could to her Metroid Prime 1 design (except for her forearms and lower legs, I embellished the polygonal lines a bit; and added a bit more variation to her arm cannon) - I liked that game's design best. Smooth & sleek. It had the most human appearance of all her suits. They made her all clunky and complicated for MP2 and 3... they're cool and all, but I prefer this style most. And I add my own flourish to the proportions of the armor.

I try to keep Samus with a noticeably feminine figure - I hate how the old games, and even the 3D models in Prime 2 and 3, give her way-too-broad shoulders and an otherwise masculine figure. If it wasn't for the formfitting leg armor, you'd think it was a dude. You'll see me giving her narrower shoulders in NvS...
