Stepping into the hallway with a clank of her ceramic armoured boots, the Arc Knight looked at the myriad of troopers that stood between her and the blast doors at the end of the corridor. Although main and emergency power had failed in the crippled starship, rendering the interior pitch black, she could perceive her surroundings perfectly well, despite her armour having no vision ports, no external cameras, she had the supernatural sense common to all Arc Knights, independent of environmental conditions.

With a thrumming crackle, her Arc Blade ignited in a blinding fury so intense that her cloak immediately began to combust around her, the enemies blocking her path squinted or covered their eyes as their retinas were overwhelmed by the brightness of her blade, some firing poorly aimed blasters in her direction, most of which failed to find their mark, those that did bounced harmlessly off the ceramic plates that covered her frame, their potency nothing compared to the blade she wielded, which her armour was designed to protect against.

She began to advance, not even bothering to raise her weapon as she merely trudged between the ranks of her enemies, the radiant heat of her blade igniting them as she neared and passed, their animalistic wailing drowned out by the deafening crackling and thrumming of the burning weapon she held at her side. She was an Arc Knight, and only another of her kind could hope to stop her…
