So Ive been helping an artist i admire expand the pokedex for their pokemon AU roleplay, which takes place in a region of their own design based off of Australia called Auland.

Conversely to their pre-evolution, in response to their dangerous environment, the Aulandian Dodrio grew larger and more threatening, taking on the dark type along with it’s more aggressive disposition.

I based them off of a mix of emu, cassowary, and extinct terror bird
