Description
We build, we fight!
Commissioned "Sea Bee" pipe (reads "C B" in English, which stands for Constuction Battalions). It is the symbol of the "Sea Bees", military engineers of the United States Navy.
The pin-up lady is not part of the original emblem, but was requested by the customer (making it very complicated but making the work more fun). To give an idea of the size, its face (chin to forehead) measures 7mm.
Briar wood from Tuscany, methacrylate mouthpiece, stand designed specifically for this pipe, made of ash and beech. I've created a clay model before carving this pipe, to better study poses, movements, interactions between elements.
Ah, I never imagined having to carve twenty-nine fingers in a single pipe!
