Description

John 3:17
(17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Speech showcases the mind. Action showcases the will. And intent showcases the heart. In this verse God gives us a clear look at His intentions for sending His Son, Jesus Christ. He blesses us with a glimpse of His heart and how It feels toward us. This verse also showcases the only two outcomes that we face for our sins. In short, we can either be forgiven or condemned and there is no gray in between. This makes me all the more thankful that Jesus was sent to save. The fact that our Creator, perfect and just, would look upon sinners like us with such loving intent, grips my heart and fills it with praise. And, it hurts me when people consider God to be a distant God; that only rarely steps in and delivers a miracle to those that really really deserve them. It hurts me when people think that salvation or damnation is so lightly considered. It hurts me because the Bible is full of verses like this that clearly proclaim that God is not only involved in every moment of your life, but He also deeply cares about it too. God loves you. He knows how lost you feel, your heartache, and your anxiety. And even though our sins had separated us from Him, He sent His Son to save us. When Jesus died on that cross at Calvary, the doors to heaven where thrown open wide and an open invitation was sent out to everyone, regardless of who they are or what they had done. If anyone believes in Jesus Christ, then they are freed from the condemnation of their sin and are as welcomed in the gates of heaven as lost children are welcome in the arms of their parents. I’m so thankful that my Savior opened those doors for me. And it is with great joy that write this because it is my intent that you know that those doors are opened for you too. All that is required is that you repent of your sins and ask Jesus to forgive you and for Him to be your savior. If you do that, then one day we’ll meet on the other side of those doors with our loving God and His Son who was sent to save.

But until that day, remember, God Loves you and so do I! Stay Strong!

If anyone else has a favorite King James Version verse they want me draw let me know either by note or comment.

Note: Unfortunately, when this website updated, it has radically altered/remove the ability to make or use these as functional page buttons (as far as I know). But I still plan on making these as long as I am able! ^^ Hopefully the website will return the function soon, but if they do not, I will try to find new ways to add these verses to pages! ^^
