As someone who deeply enjoyed Guardian of The Galaxy I'm gonna have to put away my fanboyism for this critique.
Simply put this is an artwork riding on the fandom.
A much more popular friend on DA told me that the way to get views is to appeal to a fandom, and this is a shining example of that.
Not to say that the artwork is bad though, its got great posing details and lighting, but its not visually stunning.Β
On the whole the artwork is simple in nature, not that that's a bad thing, its just not on the same level as what I would associate as being deserving of making a daily deviation.Β
