Description One of my favourite spots while driving to see the Roaring Fork, unfortunately you have to stop on a bridge and there is nowhere to pull over at this spot. If I had thought about it I would have just parked up the road and tried to walk down to take the other photos I had wanted.

As soon as you cross the bridge on the whole left side of your vehicle is just a giant slab of rock-face, and to your right a steep drop. Just around the corner up ahead there is a sharp left turn. If you are not driving slowly like you should be you're pretty much doomed I reckon. The turn comes up and a rock juts out from your left and almost directly in front of you the drop.

There are two or three spots where rock does jut out on the right side of your vehicle where it looks like you just might get it scratched, but it barely misses you.

Just beyond where the water disappears in this photo is a giant drop-off/waterfall spot. That, is what I wanted photos of.

Yes, you should at some point. Try not to leave it too late. My country, Wales, is very hilly and mountainous, but I live on the coast, so it's like having the best of both worlds (Altitude and the views that it brings on the one hand, and the sea and all it entails on the other). I'm extremely privileged to be honest. P'raps I'm trying to pay for this by photographing my locale as well as possible.
