It is indeed a great picture but I don't get the message at all? Can anyone explain how this is showing sinful pride?

Pride typically denotes a lack of perception of one's own weakness thus finding oneself invincible. However, the Lion doesn't notice just how close to the edge it is, meaning the pride is blinding it.Β At least that's how I see it. The general lighting of the image comes off as very foreboding as well.Β

I kind of feel like pride is sort of a divisive sin, or the least destructive, in my opinion; some pride is necessary, but you don't want too much of it.
Envy is kind of stupid, because why do you think taking out the idol that you look up to will make you better?
Lust and Greed, they creep me out, to be honest.
Sloth is perhaps the weakest in my opinion.
Gluttony is pretty close to Lust and Greed.
I find Wrath to be one of the strongest and most emotional, especially if fueled by sadness.
