I see the parenting is hard angle, but what hits me harder is that: Childhood is free flowing and exploratory whereas the adults are on the merry go round without even knowing it. We give up the freedom and imaginative world for what? Traffic, migraines and bills? A never ending cycle. Trapped in a spiral of jobs and relationships that don't fulfill us and all we really wantย is to get off the machine and go back to getting our toes wet, at least, that's where I am... I just wantย to sit in a mud puddle and stare at the sky without being asked why.
