tumblr The last one didn’t really even need a follow-up, but… I made one anyway because I wanted to draw the awkward aftermath. I actually made several other FFXIII pictures this past week, but I haven’t been posting them because I wanted my next post to be a follow-up to my last one.

I've always liked this pic (I think some of Light's antagonism towards Snow rubbed off on me) , but I only understood it yesterday when I made it to Gran Pulse and saw this monster....It killed the entire party without even one hit.
Didn't care too much though, my dad likes watching me play FFXIII (for some reason) and was really confused when all I did is laugh my head off about how I finally understood a fan art.
Which lead him to ask what fan art is... A whole nother conversation.

HAHAHA oh wow, thank you so much for sharing this story with me! It seriously makes me really happy to hear that my picture made you laugh your head off while playing FFXIII, and confused your dad and introduced the concept of fanart to him!! XD Oh, there have been so many times when I got into a series just to understand the fanart, or had that moment of reaching a part that I'd seen fanart about and FINALLY getting the joke... it is rather satisfying XD

I like Hope and Lightning together, as a mother-son relationship. A military-strict mother and a emotional, cute (I'm a dude and i called him cute ) son, but still.

Yeah, I like them together regardless of how it's interpreted; their personalities balance each other, with Hope bringing out Lightning's softer side and her encouraging him to stand up for himself. They both did a lot for each other's character development in XIII. (Heh, I usually just use "cute" in the way that small animals are cute... seems to apply here, what with how he follows Light around like a puppy. ...An incessantly yapping puppy, in Lightning Returns.
