Sometimes I can see bad Pearl waiting by the bus stop , riding the Greyhound from town to town.

Given her talent for mechanics , however, it was just a matter of time before she got her hands on a seized, rusty shell of a motorcycle straight out of the junkyard, rebuilding it into the fastest thing on two wheels outside of the Boneville Speedway.

So that's why I commissioned this illustration of Pearl in her racing leathers. Ride safe, don't be a squid! Artwork by Yotomoe .
