*Two former cellmates Chloe and Alyssa are heading out for a halloween party, in their costumes which they chose as a nod to their time locked up together. However while waiting for a taxi the temptation to play around with their handcuffs proves too much and while fooling about they end up losing the keys. Not wanting to go clubbing in cuffs Alyssa tries using a hairpin to free them*

Chloe: Oh god, the taxi’s 2 minutes away, can you get me out of these any quicker?

Alyssa: I'm trying, I'm trying. Please stop moving though, it's making things harder.

Chloe: Oh, how come? Is my ass jiggling about too distracting?

Alyssa: Honestly, yes! It is a little hard to concentrate with you waving it around in my face, so try and sit still while I pick this lock.

Chloe: Are you sure you know what you're doing? You've been trying for ages. It’s just my luck to be friends with the only professional thief who can't pick locks!

Alyssa: It's financial crimes I do. Spreadsheets are the tools of my trade, not hairpins.

Chloe: Stop making being a convicted felon sound so boring. Besides, we were in jail together for what.. a year.. Don't tell me you didn't pick any skills from the other girls there.

Alyssa: I wasn't quite the social butterfly you were. Most of what I learned came from you and while you taught me a lot about working tight holes, none of it really applies here.

Chloe: I dunno, the way your tongue could work miracles you've probably got a better chance opening the lock with it, than whatever you're doing currently. Actually I'm being completely serious, try licking it a little bit. When I was locked up in the state pen there was this chick, Alexa who told me how you've got to lubricate a lock if it's jamming.

Alyssa: Sure, whatever. I’ll try anything at this point.

Chloe: See that’s the difference between us, i've been to actual big girl prison, where you learn stuff, county jail was childsplay in comparison.

Alyssa: Might not be the difference much longer, I caught an FBI surveillance van outside my house this morning, must have been listening in the entire night.

Chloe: It’s probably nothing, plus most women would be flattered to learn there's a group of burly men in uniform having sleepless nights over the thought of putting them in cuffs.

Alyssa: It’s really scared me, I’m always so careful not to incriminate myself, but my idiot husband, not so much. Plus you know, if the feds charge us, I'm the one who'll have to take the fall and do the time, not him.

*the lock clicks*

Alyssa: Oh hey, looks like your tip worked, just needed a little lubrication is all.

Chloe: Thanks babe, let me help you get out of yours. You know I'm sorry to hear about what you said, I know it must be super stressful.

Alyssa: Don't worry, I’ve learnt how to break out of novelty handcuffs. No prison can hold me now.

Chloe: It will probably all be fine, but if you do get locked up you know i'll come visit, the long drive is worth seeing how cute you'll look in orange for a change.

Alyssa: Oh ive no doubt youd be making the trip, although I’d think the more likely reason is because you've fucked up your probation again.

Chloe: Oh look the taxi’s here, let's go. I'm not going to worry about my PO, you're not going to worry about the feds, let's just get wasted and have fun tonight. Could actually bring the handcuffs with us if you really want to have fun.
