Snoopy walks in after a outing with Woodstock. He is a bit preoccupied by thought as he walks inside his house. While inside he hears a cute soft "YIP" from what seems to be coming from the roof. Snoopy rushes out and looks up to see a cute, very cute little dog sitting on top of his house. The puppy looks down at him waging her tail as she licks her lips with a smile. His face is no longer white but a bright shade of red. He then hears the voice of Peppermint Patty from inside Charlie's house.
"She just followed me home. She is so cute and adorable I did not want to take her to the pound. You sure your ok with taking her in Chuck?"
"Ya, we got room in the yard for her."
"But what about Snoops, Chuck? He won't be mean to her."
Snoopy looks at the wind of the house to see his master look out at him with a smile and a wink. "Naw! I get the feeling that they will get a long very well."

Ya, that's what I thought. She just sitting on the roof kinda like Snoopy. At least I think she is a she. Oh if the puppy is a boy that kinda changes the story a bit.
