...I promise we'll find a way.One of the stock images I downloaded from ~resurgere reminded me of an old geographic map with ocean on sand. It's not quite clear here, as it's more of a texture...but it gave me the inspiration to do a piece based loosely around maps and directions.

oh! thats very cool, i realy like how you put that quote at the bottom of the picture. With that it makes the picture have more meaning. Very nice texture and colors for this picture, it turned out very very well. Good Job!

It looks like something very old indeed, the colour choice is well suited to the shot. Although old maps usually are brown that might have given a different mood to the photo. Very creative,well done!

I really like this piece. The girl has a wonderful naive look, beckoning for guidance through the trials and tribulations of the world. The green hue adds a calming, reassuring tone to the piece. A 'parental instinct' appears very prominent in this work. Very nice!

The texturing provided by the map is so freakin' cool! 
I usually like to give contructive advise too...but..not much here to give. Only thing that catches my eye it the hand. It stands out a bit too much I think. You could try placing more green tones over it to bring it back a little.
