This little dude is the medicine cat of the main Clan from my Warriors fanfiction, Mice and Birds. He's kind of irrelevant, but he's sweet and kind of Brackenfur-ish so I like him. He's just a little guy.

Drawing fluffy cats is fun. I like the style I've developed with drawing fluff because it's shapey and tasty. I did a bit of experimentation here, as I do with all of my art these days; you can mostly see it in the shading and lineart. I keep changing my process for every drawing, which is okay, but I never actually reflect on it to figure out whether it worked out or if I like what I did. I think it turned out well here. The colours are very warm, which isn't realistic but it looks nice to me so whatever. I need a less pixellated and more intuitive process for drawing screen tones, I think. I also want to experiment with developing a sort of aesthetic with my art, but idk about that so much. I haven't experimented much with screen tones and the like because CSP doesn't have many options for it, but I want to incorporate them into my process because they look cool.
