A very powerful photo, it has an instant impact. The crowd, the light and smoke from the fires, and the faint streaks of snow… I’ve been reading a bit about these protests in the news lately, and while I don’t know a massive amount about the situation, this photo makes me feel closer to it somehow. I can’t say that I love the photo, or that it’s particularly enjoyable to look at, because it’s such a tense moment- I don't think it should be fun to look at- but it is a very striking image, and a very important one as well I think. Thank you for posting it!

... and it was a pretty scary situation, everyone expected the special forces to move in and try to disperse the crowd that night. They were constantly throwing the tear gas grenades, firing rubber bullets and hosing those you came too close with water cannons (with the temperature dropping to -15C !!!) Thanks for your comment!
