I am impressed with this work, and appreciate the creativity, but you have accidentally recreated a real weapon. The Dathomiri (night sisters and night brothers) have a rare weapon called the energy bow, which uses plasma bolts and plasma arrows with unerring precision. You have more or less given an original weapon to a race that already possesses it, but I am impressed nevertheless by your art.

um cuz the purple part is the "light saber blade part" wouldn't that mean that she'd loose her fingers by touching the plasma bow string?

A hand guard would work, but the dathomiri possess attachment to nature which can allow them to make their skin invulnerable.

I also remember reading in one of the prequel books about a lightship... and that didnβt actually cut skin either

Wow. If only the Nightsisters in the show looked like that! Well done on the bow! That was my favorite part of the episode, "Nightsisters." I was stoked when it became an available weapon in CWA, but this image just blows me away! Excellent work!

Nice! I saw the Nightsisters in the latest Star Wars magazine and fell in love with the idea of them. Ever since I first saw mention of sith witches I have had a fixation with them. Its nice to see another person that likes them.

She looks sleek and deadly! Love the bow and how it creates the arrow and bowstring. Rangers are my favorite class to play in MMO's, especially the fantasy based ones like in EQ1, EQ2 and Vanguard.

Now I have to ask, snce I am such a Star Wars geek, how can she us it without slicing off her fingers on the draw string? Sorry, I just have to ask. It is a great render though. I love it.

There is a 3 point handle in her left hand you can't see. She isn't holding the beams themselves. As for how it works I assume its more like a blaster than a lightsaber.
Its a new weapon I've only seen in screen captures from the cartoon. Ive yet to see a live action example of how its used.
