Here I am submitting another drawing from my designs for MadCow - this was supposed to be hand painted on a leather cover of ipad, but I have redesigned it a little
All elements were bigger and more blocky, to cover all area of the drawing, and the snowflakes were fully visible. I wondered if I should even left them, but in the end they are here . The drawing is around two years old today I just made some little tweaks on the horse itself. More shine is always better 
Maybe someone remembers this MadCow ipad project when I was explaining it with the other designs. The main object had to be placed on the right side of the drawing, on the back we have some adornments
It is not so very detailed, because in hand painting the details would be lost anyway. The other designs from this series I have submitter are:

Beautiful!! Might I ask how you learned to paint horses digitally? I see so many gorgeous paintings on here and I have Corel Painter but am a bit lost on how to start.

Thanks a lot! I learned just by trying and trying over again. I remember exactly how lost I was when I first opened my corel (yes, I started with this too ) Believe me the first few drawing are the worst. To know all the tools you need and how to gain different results.. later it is just practice

Man I will tell you till the ends of time! You are the reason why I strive to get better. I commissioned you with Crimson-Mane quite a while ago of our characters together and I still have the poster that I had printed out and it's making my room so beautiful! Your art is fantastic!

or some really tiny brush and tons of patience. Gosh how I would love to be able to paint with traditional media D:

Just try to? It´s not thaaat hard ^^ I know, grass will kill you maybe, but like it´s on digital..it´s all about training and knowledge. If you mean traditional media = color pencils and paper.
On leather it may be harder.. i haven´t try to "paint" on leather..or work with it

I was trying few times to paint with acrylics or watercolours but I am all confused with so basic things like blending colours to gain nice shades. I am sure all I need is patience and practice.. but huh now I don't have any of those things
