First of I wanna say that this piece made me smile as I was reading it. The meaning behind it and the execution of it is just lovely and beautiful. I would love to see more messages like this on the front page of DeviantART.
I like the emphasis on the U which can be seen as the mouth in a smiling form. People should smile more often, it would make the world a better place. I also like how the artist is saying how there are more reasons to smile than there are to cry.
But, crying could also be a happy thing. After all, people cry at weddings and graduations and ceremonies and so on. So crying can also be seen as a positive expression of emotion. This whole piece is beaming with positivity. I love it so much.

I for one gave a huge grin upon seeing this. The simplicity of the art took me by surprise because the message is anything but simple, but at the same time it was. The lights were a nice contrast to the sticky note and the colors bend together quite well. The quality is just as great; the crispness makes it just that much more of an implication of beauty. The message in its own right had a major impact on the entire piece for it gives a philosophy that most people tend to overlook in sadness. Life is cruel and Life is beautiful.
