Wanderlust 🧭

I shot this image in Cappadocia, Turkey this summer. This region is a popular tourist destination and famous for its hot-air ballooning. Up to a 100 balloons fly almost every single day at sunrise and it's the most incredible experience.

I missed traveling so MUCH. Thirst for adventures and wanderlust are a big part of my nature. Unique places and beautiful nature make me feel like I'm being in a fantasy world straight out of dreams.

People often ask me if my locations are real and if I travel there specifically to create art. Yes, everything you see in the background is real. I don't normally travel purposely. Usually we're on vacation and I do a lot of research about the place we go. I love unique places, they often become a source of inspiration for me and trigger creative thought process. If I see something interesting that sparkes an idea I use that opportunity to create an artwork. I like to incorporate the location to the image as a part of the concept and transform it into a shooting set.
