People have dreams and things they cherish. A dream to be a wiser person, so they can finally feel as if they are worthy of love. A desire to be a compassionate person, in order to fill their aching heart. To be allowed to cherish what they hold dear, and hope no one will steal it away from them. The want for a place bring comfort and a sense of origin.

Unfortunately, said dreams are often in conflict to the cruel world around them.

Okay, that got a little dark, so here is a bit of comedy/heartwarming for each picture:

Harvest: Fortunately, Youkai are quite physically resilient so they survived, and Chouquette was given a stern talking to about her straw based tomfoolery and what is allowed to be sucked.

Logging: Clover would promptly start shoving pastries into her chest plate. Ironically, it still made her feel better.

Faded Memories: BreePuff later received lots of hugs and affection from Eiki and Komachi.

The Homing Instinct: When asked why she was throwing bricks instead of a house, Payton responded with "It's easier to paint bricks yellow and throw them than houses." followed by throwing several bricks at the question asker. No one knows where she got the bricks from.
