The way the model's hair covers her face is actually rather interesting. The photo does tell a bit of a story, so that is well done. This photo is rather bland though, verging on snapshot. The subject is dead center in the photo, and this is generally considered weak composition. I would recommend looking into rule of thirds framing. Also, the contrast is a little weak as well. That may be aesthetic preference, but I feel with the strength of the colors from this photo, and the colors are astounding, it could benefit from having an even contrast. The pole does balance the model, and I think that is well done, but if you had shifted the frame to the right, put the model on the left, pole on the right, you would have nailed balance and rule of 3rds and I think then that the photo would do much better.
