Description
This was my first attempt at a spacescape I whipped up one day when I was just messing around seeing if I could actually pull off a nice looking space scene. I was fairly pleased with it. Entire image was done in photoshop from scratch with no references.Related content

Indeed I do, I'm actually in the process of submitting a couple more deviations right now. I was pretty amazed at how fast I got a response, as soon as it was finished uploading I hit "go to" and there was your response already waiting..heh.

I LOVE SPACE ART! i have to put you on watch ^^ I am not that good in it, I'm better at Terragen, but I'll be trying to get better son. What program do you use?

Adobe Photoshop, a precision mouse and a steady hand are my tools of the trade

I've never used Maya. I've only used Terragen and Photoshop CS. I am hopefully going to get some more programsto use!

Photoshop and Illustrator CS2 are the ones I'm using now. They've added some new features into it that REALLY make me glad I upgraded. The vanishing point tool comes very much in handy for photo manips, and it's about time they put a Red Eye reduction tool in the program. There's a ton of new things in it, I swear by Photoshop. It's the only program I even consider using for pixel graphics.
