I'm surprised this one didn't try to sting you when you went close with the camera. I hear if you're too comfortable with bees, they'll go and attack.

I wasn't really thΓ‘t close, really. Plus it was too busy looking for food. Bumblebees don't attack that fast, by the way. Bees might, but bumblebees are tres cute.

I knew you wouldn't go dangerously close. You're too smart for that. You know what the worst sort of yellow and black insect is? Wasps and Yellow-jackets. They're really vicious, and they keep on attacking you until they're tired of it.

Wasps are bad yeah. They stung me two times in a row a few years ago in Croatia. But they got in our car while we were driving and apparently one got between my elbow and the car seat. It stung me once, got mad and stung me again in my wrist. That was just on the surface but my elbow got gigantic. We have one of those vacuum thingies that sucked out the stuff they put in, so it was even less bad than it would've been.

Oh my! I'm glad you're not allergic to bee-stings. Without the proper medical help, you probably would've died.

That's good. That's very good. What sort of movies do you like? I like dark comedies and adventure stories, and my favorite director is Tim Burton.

I love this shot. The placement of the flower and bee in the frame is wonderfully different, and the picture is truly unique. Not many people choose to capture the back of insects, but youβve proved it can be beautifully and creatively done.
The focus on the rear stripes of the bee is spectacular, and I adore how the wings of the bee appear in the background almost like an afterthought. The colors are also fantastic; Iβm a sucker for the purple, green, and white combo and the yellow is a fun, attention grabbing addition.

Haha, I love that you got his little beebum in the picture. He looks like he is probably head first in nectar.
The colors are great too! Very spring-y.

Groetjes!
