he's such a gorgeous character, and i like what you put yours in natural situations, even brooding about the bad things that has happen he still looks very elegant.

I can't stop admiring his lovely kimono tunic thing... his whole outfit is just great! X3 The colors and patterns mixed subtly with the textures. I really would have liked to see that outfit on one of your girlyer males (to be completely honest), but he still pulls it off nicely. Me likey. ^^
That pillow/couch/beanbag/bed heβs sitting on looks cozy btw. o.o <3

You have such a wonderful way of portraying a character's face... I love his hair, and the expression of his eyes. And his clothing... o...o;

I really like this picture- composition wise it's fantastic. There's a lot going on, but nothing distracts too much from Absinthe himself. I also, like everyone apparently, really like how you used the flat pattern on his clothing. It looks great next to your colouring elsewhere.
My one critique would be that his nose and mouth look too big for his eyes, as though maybe the eyes should be just a little larger to fit in with the rest of the face.
Excellent pose (as always!).

Very lovely. I would surely love to see someone actually make that outfit he is wearing.

I was/am really inspired by all of your works where you include gold! I don't know why it grabs my attention so much, it just does. XD Anyway, I did a printmaking (textiles) project where we had to come up with a wallpaper design, so I wanted to do gold butterflies on a black background. Unfortunately, the butterflies didn't turn out at iridescent as I'd originally wanted.

Haha thanks.
It probably depends on the ink. :/ I've never done printmaking, but the gel pens I use have really thick, bright ink.

Printmaking is essentially acrylic paint. I just didn't have enough gold paint so I had to mix it with pale yellow. I'm going to post it...sometime, lol.
