Back by popular demand. Here's how this costume was made.

That's 2 wigs sewn together, the first was shoulder blade length and poofy on the crown; the second wig was straight and so long I could sit on it.

The gown was a stretch synthetic that fit the curves of my body when cut the correct size. The V in the chest was wired top to bottom to stay in place. A corset was inset into the gown and attached to the wires. My chest was a lot smaller then, so I used an old Hollywood trick with duct tape and foam on the side to fill in. Therefore everything stayed in place.

The belt was fake leather and I custom made it to fit me and to close with an approximation of that knife she has.

The shoes were 3 inch heels from a weird shoe company.

4 inch black nails and skeleton earrings finished it off. Plus a 45 minute makeup job.

No, I'm not available for hire to your party nor do I jump out of cakes. I have a professional graduate degree, folks. I just also happen to be really good at making costumes. My ability to think out solutions to make costumes of complexity made graduate school a breeze for me. And I'm too old to make any sexy costumes now. This is the one where my friends did not recognize me for an hour or so and neither did my brother-in-law.
