Back to some photography - my darned Ultra Fractal won't render an image for me AGAIN!!
Aww I was being mean and woke this little guy up! I took loads of pictures of him, but have picked out only just a few from the bunch (most of them are blurred because he was constantly on the move, and I didn't want to use flash as I don't think this is kind on animals if it can be avoided).

He looks so much like my orange cat, same eyes and everything but my guy is all orange with no white. They both have the same aloof expression too!!

You know I don't have any pictures of him at all I really need to take some. He just kinda showed up one day all skinny, unfixed and constantly looking for females. Now he's fixed, fat and chases the girls away!

Thank you.. I HATE waking up from those dreams where I'm free and well and energetic and doing the things I love doing! Those leave me horribly depressed on waking only to find myself as I actually am now. So yes, ongoing sleep would be heavenly!!!
I don't know what it is with UF. I've tried just about everything I can possibly think of now, including a fresh download of the latest version and reinstalling it. Its become completely unpredictable as to whether at the end of a long rendering session its going to actually convert the script to an image. I did finally get what I wanted this evening (will post it tomorrow) by opening a folder on my desktop and rendering it to there instead of some remote folder in the midst of all the ones on My Pictures. Whether the more direct route made it better I don't know, but the thing is that I've used that program for years and years with no problems until just before Christmas! Then I reformatted the harddrive when Lily was here, and its been unpredictable on and off ever since. Its only at the conversion stage that this happens, and I haven't a clue what could be causing that to happen...

I have no idea either what could cause you such grief. It might have to do with your harddrive. When you formatted it, did some of the settings change back to a default mode, perhaps?!?!?! I really have no idea, I wish I could be helpful,

I doubt whether anybody would have the right solution for my particular computer lol! It runs well, has plenty of memory, but sometimes.... !
