Here's another tease for Sunday. Nigel V during the Allocene saw many changes, both in fauna, flora, and geography. The continent of Monoterrus was slowly beginning to drift apart, however these changes are not so obvious for now. The shifting plates has caused volcanic activity and currents to change, causing ocean life to go unstable temporarily, however this isn't a mass extinction, many of the oceanic clades we are familiar with are still around. New habitats have evolved in suitable areas. The spread of mangroves has been hit hard due to changing shores, and in many cases they simply couldn't recolonize old territory due to competition with larger plants. Due to unfavorable currents and winds, the Mangroves are stuck in their ancestral regions on the three islands, with one exception happening recently. A new island has formed in the North West, bordering the island of Microterrus (Tiny Land) this island has been dubbed Dotinsulum (Dot Island), The two larger islands Patellinsulum (Plate Island) and Longuterrus (Long Land) have drifted slightly, with Longuterrus seeing the largest drift. A massive river cuts through the northern half of the island, named The Great Terus River. Most other rivers on the planet are small and insular, with an exception being the rivers in marshes.
