This is my first Flash drawing in at least a week, so it's probably not up to snuff. XPI COULD go into how much I loved 'A Fistful of Ed'. Or I could just say this is how I remember the ending. I will say that I loved Jimmy's hate-splosion and Eddy scaring off the Kankers. It's about time Jimmy and Eddy, the series' most mistreated characters, got to be the heroes.
Also, it was NOT the last episode. It was just the last episode that's not considered a special episode. Everyone understand? Good.

Heheh, that's very good. I caught that episode on YouTube, and I'll tell you this - Danny and his team really do make a darn good show.
"Ed, Edd n Eddy" always makes me laugh, but "A Fistful of Ed" had a lot of emotion and tense, which really made me stop and gawp. The characters were more alive and, dare I say it, human in their change of behaviours and attitudes. Seeing Ed and Edd sobbing their hearts out almost had me going and seeing Eddy standing up to the Kankers, averting a cliched ending, was absolutely THE best ending to any show anywhere.
Cleverly written and wonderfully acted, this is up there in the Top 10 list. The other highlight for me is hearing Eddy sing the Mexican Hat Dance. I cracked up when hearing that!!
Anyways, love the pic. Very impressed that you drew it so well in Flash and got all the details on the characters exactly as in the last scene. Nice one.

that ending just made me explode with the happy. I really am glad Eddy got to do that, he really wasnt having much of a part in the recent episodes besides abusing Ed and Edd. they all look so content with their hotdogs, even though they're all beat up ^_^

Aw, cute. That was actually my favorite episode of this season, part of which for the same reasons you mentioned (Jimmy's hissy fit (an understatement) and Eddy finally NOT being a jerk). I like the way you made the background EEnE styled, and how you added the hot dog crumbs.
Elaborating on the ep more, I also liked Nazz NOT being an idiot for once this season (sure, she was all "OMG D=" about Double D, but so was everyone else, and she tends to freak out when everyone else is (the episode with Ed turning into a monster being a prime example)), the awesome art, and how it was fairly emotional without becoming corny (although I will be honest and say that I thought the part where Double D's crying brought the flower to life was a LITTLE too much...).
...*rereading comments* ...they show what's under his hat? Where'd you hear that? o_o I'm not doubting it, I'm just wondering 'cuz it's the first I've heard of it (and I'd rather have it remain a mystery, but eh...).

Yeah, there were a lot of great things about the episode. I don't think it was supposed to look like Edd's tears brought it to life, though. The flower didn't die, he was just in the process of cross-pollenating two flowers, and it happened to bloom when Jimmy was spying on him.
I can't help but wonder why the kids didn't find ANYTHING weak about Edd crying. XP I'd stop being afraid of the "school tough kid" once he started crying. I loved the emotion in the episode, it's just that you'd think it'd be clear to the kids that he wasn't ENJOYING this. That, and I'm surprised the kids wouldn't think of him as a hero for crippling a Kanker. The Kankers are universal antagonists, even the Eds' normal antagonists hate/fear them. They didn't fear Jimmy after he blew up, turned into a monster and mauled Edd....
That's not me changing my mind on how awesome the episode is, though, I just like to look into things. XP
There's an interview with Danny on the season 2 DVD, in which he states that we'll find out in "the feature." I'm pretty sure he means only if CN lets him do the movie in theatres, but I'm sure they'll reveal it even if it's a TV movie.

Ahah. I thought that too...you'd think at least EDDY would believe Double D would be geniuenly crying over Ed's lost friendship, and not beat him up over it, but oh well. And now that I think about the Kanker thing...weren't they all cheering for the Eds to beat up the Kankers in Season 1's "Tag Yer Ed"? XP Times change, I guess. As for the Jimmy thing, I just assumed it was because the kids actually like Jimmy (usually), whereas Double D is in the Outcast/Ed group, and its just easier to fear/hate them. XD;
But I agree with you, it was still a good episode.

To make Eddy even more nice-seeming, Eddy's hand can be briefly seen patting Ed's shoulder right before Edd injures Ed.

Well, there's still going to be a special episode NEXT Friday and a movie sometime next year, and there's a possibility of a 6th season (only if the many emails flooding towards CN right now convince them, though).

Well, if you think about, the magic boomerang in season 4 didn't make the kids their opposites, it brought out suppressed characteristics. The opposite of Rolf is NOT an opera singer. He sings plenty o' times. So, Jimmy blowing up in this episode COULD very well be that side of him finally escaping. Plus, there's a moment in season one where he said he wants to be just like his toy soldier when he grows up.
...I'm probably just looking into this too much. XP

There is a new episode in two weeks. CN really shouldn't have aired all those "last episode" commercials the same time as all those CN Invaded commercials that clearly show that a new EEnE episode will air not long after the "last episode". XP
