Description
These are fanarts of the anime Houseki no Kuni / Land of the Lustrous, more precisely, of the characters Phos (main protagonist) and Cinnabar. Like most of the characters, they are gems - literally sexless beings from stone/minerals - that grow up fighting to defend their home from lunarians, habitants of the moon who want to capture gems. The anime adaptation is always mentioned when people talk about good CGI, and even if it only adapts the initial arcs of the manga, it's worth assisting - not just for the artistic aspects and animation, but also for the story, since Phos is a weak gem who can't fight and lives without a purpose, but after pushing the limits set on her, they are able to change... and with that change, comes a change on their heart and consequences beyond imaginable. I attempted to draw something in a style close to Art Noveau, and I like the result. Its from between [2016-2018].
