Description
Meet Angel Varellse! A tough-as-nails former loner with a powerful, if slow and not too durable, stand named Rising Sun.
Name: Angel Varellse
Age: 19
D.o.B: July 30
Gender: Genderfluid They/She/He
Sexuality: Demi (Birom)
Personality: Angel is rather laidback overall, however they can be irritable with their peace disturbed. Never interrupt them when they are trying to illustrate or otherwise make art. They are very no-nonsense when it comes to strangers as they refuse to be underestimated or taken advantage of. Because of this though, they can come across as uptight, mean, or uncaring, when in reality the opposite is true. In the end, Angel just wants to make art, enjoy their days, and exist.
Likes: Quiet time, making art of any form, the few close friends they have, sweets, using their stand to get rid of annoyances, pasta, cats, dogs
Dislikes: Too many questions at once, bothersome strangers, extreme childishness out of grown adults, interruptions, octopus as a food, plain spinach
Angel’s stand Rising Sun is a stand which requires the user make certain marks on its scroll-like “tail” while focusing on a target. These marks have effects which buff or debuff the target by affecting their energy flow as in things such as respiration, kinetic energy, or — in living beings with organs — blood flow. Or it can cause them to spontaneously combust internally.
Basically it fucks with energy flow. Works best in humans and animals, but plants and moving or powered objects are fine.
If it wasn’t obvious, the stand was inspired by the game Ōkami, specifically the brush powers! The name even comes from a track in the game, and the appearance is based on myths and legends surrounding Amaterasu (along with a scroll because in the game a scroll overlay is put up whenever you use brush powers)
