20 - Judgment
Exiled Prince Zuko’s story begins on a one-track mission to regain the honor he believed he’d lost. He showed little consideration for others while scouring the world for the Avatar, whose capture would reverse his banishment. His poor choices and less-than-savory actions would continue to worsen his life until he started to reflect on his own life. No stranger to struggle, he took the long and hard road through self-evaluation and came out the other side, contrite and transformed. This is spiritually referred to as a Kundalini awakening, something we can assume his Uncle Iroh experienced after losing his son. After realizing his true worth comes from within, Zuko was more than able to fulfill his destiny at the side of the Avatar and assume the throne as Firelord. A self-actualized Firelord Zuko stands tall above purifying flames and the past versions of himself. It is a significant time in life to evaluate ourselves and make changes where they are necessary in order to grow.
