Call me crazy but I'm finding myself drawn to this pairing. I don't really like how Gaara turned out in this pic. The lines are too thick, but overall I think I'm happy with this. Enjoy! by the way if you don't know who Sari is, she is a fangirl who appears near the end of the Gaara rescue part of Naruto. She also appears in Naruto Ninja Storm 2 (I give credit to for the info about her appearance in that game.)Heres a link to a picture of what she looks like. [link] She is Matsuri's friend. Matsuri appeared in the anime as gaara's student and another fangirl at the part above mentioned. Here's a link to see what she looks like [link] I don't like GaaMatsu nearly as much as I like GaaSari and I still think they give her way to much attention but other than that she doesn't bother me that much anymore. They are both minor characters who have yet to reappear in the anime/manga, sadly. Lastly just for your information both Matsuri and Sari have a cameo appearance in Naruto Shippuden the movie 3: Inheritors of the Will of Fire. Here's a picture [link] Byes~ (Small rant: I don't understand why people hate Sari/Matsuri and I don't understand why they pair Gaara up with an OC that will never exist in the Naruto universe. I also don't understand why they pair him up with girls he has never met, have tried to kill in the past, or obviously don't love him. Ex: Sakura.)

I don't have a subscription, so here's a fancy-schmancy "critique" delivered via comment:
I really like how Gaara's head turned out! The hair is bushy, and it has a bolder outline, and the face is smooth, and it has a thinner outline, and that makes it pop out really well. The shading on the hair is good too, and I think it's the dark lines that make all the difference. The rest of the drawing is very nicely and precisely done, but it's a little harder to see it because the lines are a little light... you've got the "drawing" bit down awesome, and I think what you could do to improve is really focus on finding out how to make things "pop out," like Gaara's head. Try being a little more extreme... try making light spots a little lighter, dark spots a little darker, and lines a little bolder to get a better 3D yet 2D effect! If some spots of a drawing are waaay darker than the color it's supposed to be and other spots are waaaay lighter, not only will it even out and look the right color, it'll look more 3D!

It looks good, my only critique is that the dark black outline around gaara's hair and collar kinda looks weird compared to the rest of the pic.
Other than that, I really like the coloring and everything else

I had problems coloring those parts so I outlined them in black to cover up my mistakes. heh I'm still working on staying in the lines.
