Yesterday I headed out on a new Armchair Adventure, down the coast to just south of Ulladulla to the amazing Singing Stones Beach. This tiny little beach is located south of Pretty Beach in the Murramurang National Park and I got to enjoy the whole stretch of coastline south of Pretty Beach to myself! Singing stones gets its name due to the crystalline and fine-grained Rhyolite and Chert pebbles that were deposited here about 300 million years ago on glacier ice. The little bay serves as a natural amphitheatre, amplifying the sound of the rocks washed against each in the waves. The beach wasn't in full voice (like previous times I've visited) thanks to a build-up of sand from recent storms, but it still sounded pretty awesome
